It is situated on top of 'a bill overlooking Montepulciano Lake, with a delightful view over the surrounding countryside. The lake, having been designated a conservation area by the LIPU, is ideal for bird watching.The local amenities vary from equitation, swimming^ and excursions by foot or bicycle. The Pievaccia has its own small park, swimming pool and barbecue area.
